SAP S/4HANA Application Integration & Data Space

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA professional to lead application integration and data space design across SAP and non-SAP systems. This role will partner with business, architecture, and technical teams to define integration patterns, support master data strategy, and ensure scalable, well-governed data movement across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, integration design, and strong documentation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution design for SAP S/4HANA integrations across inbound and outbound interfaces.
Define integration patterns and collaborate with technical architects on middleware, APIs, file-based exchanges, and event-driven scenarios.
Support enterprise data space and master data design, including data structures, governance, and lifecycle considerations.
Work with business stakeholders to assess fit/gap, define requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Document architecture decisions, integration flows, process designs, and technical specifications.
Partner with SAP and non-SAP teams to resolve whitespace requirements and implementation challenges.
Support conference room pilots, testing, defect triage, and go-live readiness activities.
Provide guidance on SAP table structures, reporting impacts, and data alignment across business processes.
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in SAP application architecture, integration, or solution design.
Hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation experience, preferably greenfield; brownfield experience is also valuable.
Strong knowledge of SAP integration concepts and common technical methods used with business systems.
Experience working with master data, enterprise data structures, and cross-system data flows.
Ability to communicate clearly with both business users and technical teams.
Strong documentation skills and experience preparing design papers, solution options, and process documents.
