We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – UI/UX with strong knowledge of SAFe Agile to drive the vision, prioritization, and delivery of user-centered digital products. The role will bridge business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, engineering teams, architects, and Agile delivery teams to ensure that products provide intuitive user experiences while meeting business and technical objectives.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Product Ownership, UX/UI, customer journey mapping, user research, backlog management, Agile delivery, and SAFe ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and UI/UX priorities.
- Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear features, capabilities, and user stories.
- Partner with UX/UI designers to define intuitive and consistent user experiences.
- Conduct and participate in user research, usability testing, journey mapping, personas, and customer interviews.
- Define UI/UX requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
- Maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value, customer impact, dependencies, risk, and technical considerations.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, UX designers, developers, architects, QA, business stakeholders, and other Product Owners.
- Participate in SAFe Program Increment (PI) Planning and help establish PI objectives.
- Work with the Product Manager to break down features and capabilities into actionable stories.
- Participate in backlog refinement, iteration planning, daily syncs, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Ensure stories are ready for development and have clear acceptance criteria.
- Review completed functionality and provide Product Owner acceptance.
- Use analytics, customer feedback, usability findings, and product metrics to drive UI/UX improvements.
- Identify dependencies and risks across Agile teams and coordinate their resolution.
- Ensure UI/UX designs align with accessibility, usability, branding, security, and technical standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the delivered product matches approved designs and business requirements.
- Continuously prioritize enhancements based on customer feedback and product performance.
- Support release planning and communicate product priorities to stakeholders.
