Detailed Job Description:
Primary deliverables and responsibilities include:
• Executive reporting (EVP-level) of NetOps overall performance on outage, impairment and change management metrics
• Monthly SVP and VP goals reporting; baseline development in support of goal-setting
• Coordination of Quarterly EVP reviews with each of the Net Ops Verticals including the NOC; preparation of decks and insights
• Monthly NOC and vertical performance reports, including OI
• Weekly CMTS, SDV and VOD analysis
• NOC Ticket Quality Assurance
• Daily, weekly and monthly ticket detail reports in support of vertical staff analysis
• Ad hoc analysis and new reporting at the request of senior leadership, verticals and the NOC
• Providing guidance and expertise from a reporting standpoint for vertical and NOC projects and org changes
The Developer would help enable, accelerate, and elevate NOC reporting and analytics capabilities by focusing on areas like:
• End-to-End Dashboards & Reports
o NOC Performance Suite: Interactive views on Ticket volumes, TTR trends, and SLA attainment based on data available in Remedy/DW schemas.
o Network Quality & Usage: Using Upstream data feeds create metrics on Throughput and Stream-success for DOCSIS, CBO, VOD, and SDV.
o Executive Snapshots: Scorecards on KPIs with drilldowns if required for deeper analysis and slice and dice of data.
• Advanced Analytics & Recommendations
o Root-Cause Correlation: Exploratory stories tying Event Logs to Ticket spikes to Network events, Geography, Device class etc.
o Forecasting & Alerts: Model Prototypes for ticket-volume forecasts, etc., Threshold-based alerts from Tableau.
• Adhoc Insights & Recommendations
o “Bursts Insights” with narrative Summaries (like, “utilization rose X% month-over-month”).
o Uncover key drivers and perform Ad Hoc Deeper exploration using Tableau Pulse and Ask Data.
