What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blood Bank Specialist position at Signature Healthcare Test?
Under the direction of the supervisor, coordinates the operation of the blood bank section of the Clinical Laboratory. Duties include but are not limited to: selection, orientation and training of staff, quality control activities, quality improvement activities and the capability to perform all testing of donors and patients. Requires a BS/BA and MT(ASCP) with 5 years of experience in all technical phases of transfusion service operation including advanced antibody investigations and crossmatch techniques.
