Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation in residential settings.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to company standards to ensure hygiene and safety.
- Handle laundry services such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment like carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial tools to maintain various surfaces.
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio cleaning, outdoor surface maintenance, and debris removal.
- Maintain proper handling of cleaning detergents and chemicals while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventorying supplies and ensuring timely completion of cleaning schedules.
- Lift heavy items safely during manual handling tasks such as moving furniture or large appliances.
- Ensure all cleaning surfaces are disinfected thoroughly to promote sanitation and prevent the spread of germs.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or residential cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper usage techniques is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping management practices is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be available.
