Position Description:
Responsible for executing growth strategy for Signature Brands’ popcorn business. This role leads the commercialization efforts across national and customer-specific initiatives, serving as the cross-functional leader to bring new products, programs, and strategic initiatives to market – ensuring strong execution, customer alignment, and financial performance.
Essential Duties:
- Leads end-to-end project management of commercialization initiatives, from concept through launch, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment.
- Tracks timelines, deliverables, and approvals with internal & external partners to keep all initiatives on schedule.
- Facilitates the setup of new items in both internal and external customer systems.
- Supports defining the strategic direction of the total popcorn business, including innovation, renovation, and portfolio optimization.
- Builds and strengthens the popcorn brands through development of compelling positioning, messaging, and customer-facing materials.
- Owns pricing strategy and develops financial frameworks, including P&L recommendations, margin targets, and cost optimization.
- Prepares and delivers compelling customer presentations, including new item launches, seasonal programs, and business reviews.
- Acts as the primary marketing representative in customer meetings, presenting strategies and assisting in the sell in of programs.
- Collaborates closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and P&L to execute programs effectively and efficiently.
- Partners with internal teams to develop product concepts, manage item set up, and ensure readiness for commercialization.
- Develops and manages project timelines, trackers, and communication plans to ensure flawless execution across all initiatives.
- Works with creative and regulatory partners to ensure packaging, labeling, and marketing materials meet brand standards and compliance requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing, commercialization, brand management, or related roles within CPG or food industry preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage discussions throughout all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen with experience in pricing strategy, financial analysis, and P&L management.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver persuasive customer presentations.
- Experience collaborating with Sales teams and presenting to customers preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
