Security Officer (Part-Time Swing Shift)- Texas Level II Security License required

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your role will involve monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling premises, and enforcing security procedures. The ideal candidate will have a background in law enforcement, security, the military and possess excellent conflict management and customer service skills.

THE ASSIGNMENT:

Part-time: 21 hours per week-Friday, Saturday, Sunday (12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.)

Assignment is at a high-end student housing complex.

You will perform frequent foot patrols of the property.

Position may include afternoon security vehicle patrol. Must be 21 years of age (Insurance requirement) and have a clean driving record.

Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activity or violations
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks and take appropriate action to mitigate them
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary

Requirements:

***THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION MUST BE AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY afternoons.

- Must have demonstrated customer service skills experience.

- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- CPR certification is preferred
-Reliable transportation

-Must possess a current Texas Level II security license.

-Good written and verbal communication skills.
