This position is a Full-time Direct Hire located in Irving, Texas

• Hourly pay rate $22.00 - $27.00 depending on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILTIIES

• All candidates must possess the ability to measure machined parts for conformity to the correct blueprint dimensions using calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools.
• General knowledge of machine shop operations.
• Candidates must have the ability to read and understand written specifications for work orders.
• All candidates must be able to review engineering drawings for compliance.
• Uses GD&T to determine acceptance criteria.
• Must be able to communicate with Project Manager, supervisors and other inspectors regarding acceptance or rejected parts.
• Maintains quality and manufacturing standards by approving incoming materials, in process production, FAI, and finished products.
• Maintains measurement equipment per manufactures instructions.
• All candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be capable of interacting with all levels of personnel on the project.
• Must be able to complete written reports in a timely manner.
• Enforces company safety policies and ensures safe manufacturing practices are implemented and followed.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5-10 years inspection experience
• Knowledge and experience with quality/inspection processes such as quality procedures and quality audit.
• Qualified individuals must be able to read and understand company safety policies and programs.
• Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must have correctable vision to pass Jaeger level 2 near vision test.
• Punctual and excellent attendance

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, crouch and kneel for prolonged periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• The employee also needs to process manual and/or computer generated reports and will be required to communicate via email.
• The individual will also be required to regularly move around on the jobsite, including ascending or descending on a ladder, or positioning themselves appropriately to access necessary testing materials and equipment.
