We are currently searching for an experienced, ambitious EPC Scheduler/Planner 02 for Utility-Scale Solar Energy Projects. We are looking for future leaders with a proven track record.
Reports to: Scheduling/Planning Manager
Works closely with: Subcontractors, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Controls, and Field Construction Staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project team with all scheduling and planning activities.
- Develop, own, and maintain the P6 master schedule for your assigned projects.
- Collect progress information from Subcontractors and integrate their data into the master P6 schedule.
- Facilitate weekly schedule update meetings with the project teams.
- Provide project analytics and KPIs for month-end project financial reporting (earned value, SPI, milestone progress, etc.).
- Compile schedule and progress reports (Actual vs. Plan and S-curves).
- Enforce project team compliance to maintain schedule integrity.
- Assist in the development of bid/proposal schedules and forecasts.
- Communicate risk and opportunities based on analysis of the schedule.
A successful candidate will have the following Skills/Experience/Abilities:
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Experience in EPC construction; utility-scale solar experience a plus.
- Experience working with owner representatives and subcontractors involved with the project.
- Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with co-workers, service providers, and customers.
- Ability to think strategically and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with minimal direction.
- Proficient in resource and cost-loaded scheduling.
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Primavera P6 scheduling systems.
- Advanced proficiency in basic Microsoft 365 products (PowerBI a plus).
Education:
- College degree required. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related quantitative major a plus.
- 3 years of experience in a role as an EPC Scheduler/Planner.
- PMP or AACEI Scheduling certifications a plus.
Additional Information
- Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in-office 2 days work-from-home.
- Travel to project sites highly recommended.
