Sign Kings is a busy, family-owned sign shop serving Luzerne County and beyond. We create high-quality signage, vinyl graphics, and custom installs for businesses and individuals. We’re looking for an experienced and dependable Sign Installer / Vinyl Graphic Technician to join our growing team.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on position for someone with previous experience in vinyl graphics or sign installation. The ideal candidate is comfortable installing vinyl on vehicles, windows, and signs, as well as prepping decals. In addition to installs, this role includes training to operate wide-format digital printers in our production shop, giving you valuable cross-training in all areas of sign making.
Key Responsibilities
- Install signage on-site (interior and exterior signs, posts, banners, etc.)
- Apply vinyl graphics to windows, walls, and vehicles (lettering, decals, partial wraps)
- Weed and prepare vinyl for decals
- Assist with vehicle lettering and wrap installations
- Learn to run and maintain wide-format digital printers and finishing equipment
- Operate power tools, ladders, and equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure all work meets quality and accuracy standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience with vinyl graphics and/or sign installation is required
- Comfortable working on ladders and with power tools
- Ability to read and follow measurements and layouts
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid driver’s license required
Pay Structure
- $18–$22/hour depending on experience with vinyl and sign installation
- Higher end of the range for candidates skilled in vehicle wraps and complex installs
