Role Description

We are seeking a full-time licensed Sign Journeyman for an on-site role based in both Conroe and Haltom City, TX. The responsibilities include installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of signs, including LED, neon, and electrical signage. This role involves working at heights, using lifting equipment, reading blueprints or schematics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position requires coordination with team members and customers to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in sign installation techniques and the use of tools and equipment related to sign construction and maintenance
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring as they apply to signage, including troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
• Experience working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lift equipment, along with a commitment to following safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
• Effective communication skills to work with clients and team members
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in electrical systems, construction, or related fields is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Flexibility to work outdoors under varying weather conditions
