Schedule
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Rotating weekends
- Full benefits package
What You'll Do
As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and the highest standards of image quality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform radiographic examinations to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures while providing compassionate care.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques and exposure factors to optimize image quality.
- Administer contrast media and medications within your scope of practice and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and communicate any significant observations to the appropriate clinical team.
- Follow established radiation safety practices to protect patients, visitors, and staff.
- Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submitting them to PACS.
- Verify correct patient identification, documentation, and image labeling.
- Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and report any equipment concerns or malfunctions promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including exam rooms, storage areas, and patient care spaces.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
- Support continuous quality improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance imaging protocols and department processes.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED with two (2) years of experience, or
- Associate degree (completed within six months of hire), or
- Technical degree (completed within six months of hire).
Certifications
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography obtained within 12 months of hire.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree within 6 months of hire, or Technical degree required within 6 months of hire required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
