Front of House Manager

Purpose:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, proactive, and positive Front of House Manager to support daily restaurant operations and uphold a high standard of guest experience. This role is essential to the smooth execution of service, staff coordination, and the overall success of the front of house.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience
• 2 years of bartending and serving experience
• Proven leadership skills with a decisive, creative, and encouraging approach
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and guest connection
• Positive attitude and proactive work ethic aligned with company values
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all front of house operations and assist team members across service levels
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Train, coach, and motivate staff to uphold service standards and foster growth
• Create and manage staff schedules within approved labor budgets
• Deliver excellent guest service, resolving concerns and enhancing the overall experience
• Oversee and ensure proper opening/closing procedures and consistent service throughout shifts
• Maintain clear and ongoing communication with fellow managers and staff
• Assist with alcohol inventory and coordinate orders with the General Manager
• Address in-house staff concerns and contribute to a positive work culture
• Manage guest incidents and handle discounts or comps as needed
• Utilize internal systems to document customer and staff issues
• Monitor sales and adjust staffing as necessary to manage labor cost effectively
• Log daily updates and report relevant notes to management and ownership
• Assist with cash handling, drawer checkouts, and tip reporting
• Communicate real-time menu changes, 86ed items, and count updates to both FOH and BOH, and keep Toast system current

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
