What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Manufacturer/Installer position at Sign Manufacturer?
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and assemble a variety of signs according to specifications and design requirements
-Installation of all kinds of signs, some which require the ability to dig holes, lift up to 80 pounds. We install custom mailboxes and sign posts frequently.
- Operate machinery and tools such as saws, drills, and routers to cut and shape sign materials
-Painting of signs and posts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Although we do installations all throughout the upstate, our shop area does have A/C.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience in sign manufacturing or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of sign materials, fabrication techniques, and installation methods
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in sign manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
Opportunity for bonus pay for certain installations, occasionally including some that require 1-2 nights out of town. Standard Mon-Friday schedule with NO nights or weekends.
Pay: $41,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
