Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our growing team in Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are looking to build a career in business analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
- Assist in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
- Understanding of SDLC and business process modeling.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
