Epic Trainer
seeking an experienced Epic Trainer to provide interim coverage while a current Epic trainer transitions into a promoted role. This is a handson training and support position focused on maintaining continuity for end users during an active period of system usage and optimization.
Engagement Details
- Duration: 3 to 6 months
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Work Model: Hybrid with approximately 3 to 4 days onsite and 1 to 2 days remote
Scope of Support
- Deliver Epic enduser training and ongoing support across key modules including:
- Ambulatory
- Cadence
- ADT
- Other related clinical or operational workflows as needed
- Backfill daytoday training responsibilities to ensure no disruption following the internal promotion
- Conduct new hire training, re sessions, and workflowbased instruction
- Support providers and staff with questions related to Epic workflows, best practices, and adoption
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to align training with system updates and process changes
- Assist with training materials, documentation, and knowledge transfer as needed
Ideal Profile
- Prior experience as an Epic Trainer in a hospital or health system environment
- Comfortable supporting clinical and operational users in a live healthcare setting
- Able to ramp quickly, operate independently, and provide immediate value with minimal onboarding
- Strong communication skills and comfort working onsite with end users
