Job Description
Sigmatech is seeking a Mission Protection engineer to support STARCOM's 3rd Test and Evaluation Squadron (3 TES) located at Schriever SFB, CO.
The Mission Protection Engineer Will Be Responsible For
Identifying new and evolving threats for current and future space-based capabilities
Analyzing denial/deception and Perception Management techniques
Monitoring foreign and domestic space assets to aid in operational and tactical space domain awareness
Developing, managing, and implementing procedures to mitigate compromise of mission attributes
Developing findings and recommendations using orbital analysis tools like Satellite Tool Kit (STK) to create scenarios for pre/post mission analysis and briefings
Developing Pre/Post Engagement Assessments For
Required
Required Experience:
BS in a technical/analytical field, MS preferred
8 yrs of space operations experience
Extensive experience with Microsoft tools
Advanced briefing and writing skills
Note: Additional space operations / orbital warfare experience may be considered in lieu of education
Ability to analyze both open source information and Intelligence Community reporting and studies (NSA Pulse, CIA WIRE, NASIC, DIA).
Experience with Satellite Tool Kit used to create scenarios for pre/post mission analysis and briefings.
Previous Special Access Program experience desired
Counter-intelligence polygraph preferred
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $125,000 to $140,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.

Developing findings and recommendations using orbital analysis tools like Satellite Tool Kit (STK) to create scenarios for pre/post mission analysis and briefings
