Job Description
Sigmatech has a Course Director requirement for the new Combat Leadership Development Course (CLDC).
The CLDC prepares combat squadron commanders and senior enlisted leaders to take leadership roles in the Space Force Generation Commit Cycle. The CLDC provides basic familiarization and expectations on USSF force employment, command relationships (COMREL), legal authorities, readiness & execution, standards and SpOC/CC guidance and intent. The objective for this course is to help prepare Combat Squadron leadership on roles, responsibilities, and mission planning based on a threat informed task-focused approach prior to the SPAFORGEN Commit Cycle. This is a two-day course offered 8 times a year.
This position requires familiarity in the following areas: DoD, commercial and civil space operations, ground systems, on-orbit systems, links, international capabilities, threats, cyber operations/threats/security. Individual will assist in the coordination, development, and maintenance of the CLDC. Individual will schedule and coordinate appropriate CLDC lessons and speakers. Individual will collaborate with NSSI government, civilian and contractor personnel to develop and deliver the courseware IAW customer specifications. In addition to the above, this position will also be responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of all aspects related to Course execution. Travel is possible, up to 10% annually.
Required Experience
Additional duties as required may be assigned. Required Skills/Experience
Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or equivalent Joint Service or civilian course/degree
Experience with DoD training/education, including planning, developing, and delivering instruction in accordance with the ISD model, training records keeping and documentation.
Familiarity with USSF organizations, Guardian development and strategic direction
Required Education
Masters degree from an accredited institution in relevant field (8 years of experience in a relevant field may be substituted for the education requirement)
In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirements.

- Working knowledge of USSF Space Competencies
- Working knowledge of Commercial, Civil, and DOD space capabilities and operations
- Working knowledge and experience with training and education systems and programs
- Working knowledge of, and experience with, DoD Operational level command and control
- Working knowledge of US Space strategies, policies and doctrine
- Working knowledge of United States Combatant Commands.
- Working knowledge of US partners in space
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.
