What you'll do:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specs
- Set up equipment and choose the right welding method for each job
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Use grinders, calipers, and measuring tapes to prep materials and ensure accuracy
- Inspect your welds, catch defects early, and make repairs as needed
- Work alongside a tight-knit team to keep projects on schedule
- Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
