What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Intern position at SIGMA7 design group?
We are a small Architecture/Engineering firm located in midtown NYC, specializing in High-Tech and Mission Critical buildings. Here, you will work side by side with the Principals, Senior Architects and MEP Engineering staff producing a wide range of project types for private, commercial, and institutional clients. We are based in NYC, but our work spans the entire United States.
We are looking to hire 3-4 highly motivated and organized summer interns - Architects and Engineers.
These positions are ideal for a technically minded self-motivated individuals looking for an opportunity to grow personally and professionally. Excellent growth opportunity for an enthusiastic go-getter.
Qualifications:
Architectural and MEP Engineering Students
· Current Student at an Accredited Architecture or Engineering Institution (2nd or 3rd year)
· Self-motivated and organized
· Some experience with AutoCAD and Revit
· Enscape and/or Twinmotion, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup preferred
· Ability to develop drawings, 3D models, and other documents related to design
· Have a Collaborate and Curious nature
· Assist with various in-office tasks as well as work on current design projects
