The Audio Electronics Engineer is responsible for supporting the design validation, testing, and production support of audio systems ranging from Bluetooth speakers and wireless subwoofers to high-power Class D amplifiers. The engineer will collaborate closely with the Seattle-based EE lead, local project management and mechanical engineering teams, and international partners across China, Vietnam, and other global sites.

Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical validation testing on subwoofer amplifiers, Bluetooth speakers, and related systems using Audio Precision test equipment.
- Perform analog, digital, and power circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and integrate new DSPs, microcontrollers, ADCs/DACs, and other ICs for prototype development.
- Develop and test embedded C/C firmware for ARM-based systems (non-RTOS).
- Support factory engineers in China and Vietnam through design reviews, prototyping, and technical issue resolution.
- Review safety, EMC, and reliability documentation to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Collaborate with mobile app and wireless IC development teams to optimize system performance.
- Create technical test reports, evaluation summaries, and recommendations for design improvement.
- Support customer engineering and marketing teams through all phases of product life—from concept through post-production field issues.
- Identify and qualify component substitutions for obsolete or long-lead parts.
- Maintain familiarity with UL, CE, FCC, and other certification requirements.
- Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
- BSEE or EET degree required.
- 5–7 years of experience in Bluetooth, analog/digital, power, or audio electronics design.
- Proficiency in C/C programming for embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with breadboarding, soldering, and troubleshooting complex electronics.
- Experience using SPICE simulation tools (LTSpice, Microcap, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Class D amplification (20–1000W range).
- Ability to work with overseas factory teams and communicate effectively across cultures (no language fluency required).
- Experience with safety and EMC certification processes.
- Audio Precision test system experience. Preferred.
