Sigma Defense is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer IV to join our team in San Diego, CA.

- 3 years of experience with a Linux operating system.
- CANES Admin Fleet (Navy) experience.
- Systems admin experience in a Navy setting.
- Jenkins experience preferred, but GitLab pipelines are acceptable.
- Assist the team with upgrades and patches of virtual environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing software version control and software source code base.
- Demonstrated experience developing software using an Agile framework.
- Experience building containerized systems using Docker and/or Podman.
- ACS experience is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Mandatory Certifications:
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II - Security (or equivalent).
Computer Programs/Software Requirements:
- Linux
- Red Hat
- Fedora
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field of study.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
- Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Candidate Differentiators:
- VCP, Sec , Net , and or CISSP certifications.
- Close proximity to the San Diego, CA facility.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Design, develop, and improve the automation pipeline and integrated deployment processes to build new containers, systems, and environments.
- Perform technical support to the team and assist in developing security protocols.
- Utilize DevOps tools to ensure the code compiles and passes any tests.
- Develop and execute regression test scrips to verify system functionality.
Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually.
