The Ideal Candidate
You are a team player, have an engineering degree, have direct experience of working with Qualcomm in partner management, business development, or sales roles and you already have a network of your own within Qualcomm. You excel at positioning Sigma Connectivity’s offerings within the Qualcomm ecosystem and translating these business opportunities to joint wins in form of sales for Qualcomm and Sigma Connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership management and Business Development
You will serve as Sigma Connectivity’s primary interface with Qualcomm. Your role is to understand Qualcomm’s strategic priorities, identify joint business opportunities, ensure that Qualcomm business units, marketing and sales teams and sales reps view us as the trusted design services partner, which is crucial part of their go-to-date market approach. Together with Qualcomm sales teams and sales reps you identify and pursue joint customer opportunities through co-marketing and co-selling initiatives where you demonstrate Sigma Connectivity’s product development know-how on Qualcomm platforms.
Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships across multiple Qualcomm business units and stakeholders. Represent Sigma Connectivity with professionalism, dependability, and clear communication.
Strategic Alignment
Provide market intelligence, partner insights, and drive Sigma Connectivity’s Qualcomm partnership strategy and activities. Continuously improving the Qualcomm partner strategy and ensuring that Sigma Connectivity’s internal marketing, sales, and engineering teams are aligned with the strategic targets of the Qualcomm partnership.
Execution & Follow-Through
Drive execution of joint initiatives and track progress against shared goals. Ensure seamless communication between Qualcomm and Sigma Connectivity stakeholders and resolve any issues.
Location and Travel Requirements
You are based in San Diego area, with work split between
- Working from home office
- Meeting Qualcomm contacts at Qualcomm San Diego offices
- Meeting customers at their premises mostly in Southern California
- Occasionally working with Sigma Connectivity colleagues at the Sigma Connectivity Carlsbad office.
- Occasional travel to meet other U.S. customers, attend industry events (e.g., CES, MWC), and visit our headquarters in Lund, Sweden with partners and customers.
We Offer
The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 – $250,000 per year. The Annual Salary depends upon various job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
