JOB SUMMARY
The HR Generalist is a versatile, hands-on HR partner responsible for full-cycle recruiting across Sightview's U.S. workforce, from requisition through offer, while also providing day-to-day support across onboarding, employee relations, benefits, HRIS administration, performance management, and HR policy. Sightview is a multi-state, globally distributed organization, and this role supports employees across multiple U.S. states as well as our broader global team. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this role is a key point of contact for managers and employees, balancing tactical execution with sound judgment on sensitive matters. We value curiosity and a strong learning mindset as much as direct experience — if you're adaptable, eager to grow, and bring the right attitude, we want to hear from you even if you don't check every box below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

- Extend offers, negotiate terms within approved guidelines, and manage the pre-employment process (background checks, drug screening, etc.).
- Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline health) and report on hiring progress to the VP of Human Resources.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Support new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and welcoming start for every new employee.
- Assist with employee lifecycle transactions (transfers, promotions, terminations) in partnership with the VP of Human Resources.

- Support the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues, documenting outcomes appropriately.
- Help ensure consistent, fair, and compliant application of company policy across a multi-state and globally distributed workforce.
Benefits Administration
- Assist with day-to-day benefits administration, including enrollment support, employee questions, and coordination with benefits vendors/brokers.
- Support open enrollment activities and communications.
HRIS & Data
- Maintain accurate employee data in Sightview's HRIS (ADP), including new hires, changes, and terminations.
- Run and review standard HR reports, and support data integrity audits.

- Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements across multiple U.S. states.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP experience a plus).
- Strong judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with employees and managers at all levels.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and HR priorities simultaneously.
- We prioritize attitude, curiosity, and a learning mindset over ticking every box — if you're close but not a perfect match on paper, we still encourage you to apply.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience supporting a multi-state or globally distributed workforce.
- Experience in a healthcare, SaaS, or technology environment.
