Surgical Technologist III

Sightpath Medical is seeking a Surgical Technologist III to support ophthalmic surgeons with advanced mobile cataract and refractive procedures. In this field-based role, you will travel to partner facilities, set up and operate specialized ophthalmic equipment, maintain a sterile field, and assist surgeons throughout cases. You'll perform pre-op checks, basic troubleshooting, and ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control standards. Working within a collaborative, service-focused team, you'll help deliver reliable, high-quality surgical support that enhances patient outcomes and strengthens clinical partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down ophthalmic surgical equipment for cataract and refractive procedures in mobile OR environments.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field, instruments, and supplies in accordance with infection control standards.
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures, ensuring safe, efficient case flow and exceptional patient care.
• Perform pre-op equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with technical teams for maintenance.
• Travel to partner facilities, adapting to different OR environments while upholding Sightpath Medical standards.
• Accurately document cases, equipment usage, and any issues, following company and regulatory requirements.
• Educate and collaborate with facility staff on proper use and care of ophthalmic equipment.
• Support continuous improvement, safety, and quality initiatives within a field-driven, service-oriented team.
