Position Summary

The Laser Coordinator position provides you with the opportunity to serve our patients in the flow of patient intake and care. While making our patients feel comfortable throughout their visit, you will be responsible for carrying out efficient office procedures.

Job Duties & Essential Functions

• Manage laser schedule and update as needed, entering accurate and current data into the computer
• Ensure safety is maintained at all times, including the confirmation of patient information during time out process
• Adhere to Infection Control protocols such as hand hygiene, equipment safety, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Assist the Physician during the procedure
• Review the chart for completion prior to discharge, including proper documentation of the procedure, post-operative appointment and patient discharge instructions
• Review the post-operative instructions
• Maintain the laser area in a neat, orderly and safe manner and contribute to the efficient and smooth functioning of the Center
• Ensure continuous communication between laser room and procedure scheduling regarding patient flow, problems, or concerns
• Assist Front Desk as needed and other duties may be assigned as needed
• Special projects and other duties may be assigned as needed
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Above average customer service skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the medical field highly desirable
  
  

Work Schedule

• Rotating Schedule – including days, evenings, and weekends
  
  

Salary Range

• $20.00-$22.00/hour to commensurate with experience
