Position Summary:
As the Center Manager III, you will be responsible for the management of daily office operations to ensure consistency, flow, and achievement of individual and team goals, under the supervision and direction of the Regional Operations Manager (ROM). You will interface daily with patients, physicians and office staff, while communicating and coordinating in a clear and professional manner. You may be responsible for more than one practice location and will serve as a Mentor to assigned Level 1 Center Managers. You must have the flexibility to work within the hours of operation, including occasional weekends, early mornings, or late evenings as needed.
Job Duties & Essential Functions:
- Serve as point of contact and mentor/leader to Level 1 or 2 Center Manager as assigned by the Operations team, assisting with the budget, training, and operations expectations for that location
- Lead, coach, mentor and manage all office staff teammates, including supervisors
- Oversee the training of all front desk, surgical, and technical staff operations to ensure compliance with company policies and all healthcare ordinances, including patient privacy
- Assist in the direction of physician and patient activities, acting as a liaison between the front and back office to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and overall efficiency of the office
- Seek out and identify areas of improvement regularly; Research, plan, and develop action plans for immediate implementation
- Establish and oversee orientation, training, and career development for all new hires; Ensure all new hires establish a 30-60-90 day plan and are closely monitored for progression, adjusting as needed; Maintain all documentation for teammate files
- Manage and enforce the safety and security of the workplace environment, along with the legal/regulatory compliance of the office operations
- Manage and/or oversee staff and physician scheduling, time, attendance, overtime and time off requests
- Lead, promote, and encourage a healthy and inclusive work environment through regular coaching, team work, and positive reinforcement; Reinforce and promote company core values
- Coach team members, providing constant support and areas for career development
- Evaluate individual performance levels through continuous performance management as directed by the People Services Department; Conduct disciplinary action meetings as appropriate
- Track and report team development; build and maintain a culture that is consistent with the SightMD core values; adjust training, processes, or staffing as needed to ensure a smooth workflowMaintain corporate standards within the office to ensure brand consistency and relay any specific issues or needs to corporate as needed
- Manage office inventory of medical and office supplies, working closely with procurement to ensure cost and inventory controls are in place
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the medical field and 3 years’ experience managing teammates; preferably within Ophthalmology
- Strong organization and leadership/management skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure individually and as part of a team
- Ability to coach, mentor, and guide teammates
- Open availability to work, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends when needed
Work Schedule:
- Rotating Schedule
Salary Range:
- $75,000 to $82,000 to commensurate with experience
