Travel: Potential to travel for trade shows, estimated up to 5%.


Shift: Monday – Friday, standard day schedule


Job Description


The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers by developing relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving renewals. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure customer success while achieving sales team targets. 



  • Manage and grow assigned customer accounts, serving as primary point of contact to understand their technical requirements and business needs.

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular engagement and account reviews to drive customer retention, satisfaction, and overall account health.

  • Identify, develop, and execute growth and expansion opportunities within existing accounts. Partner with Strategic Account Managers and Business Development team to support account strategy and opportunity execution.

  • Manage the sales lifecycle from opportunity generation through order fulfillment, including identifying and developing sales opportunities, generating quotations and proposals, responding to product requests and RFQs, providing timely customer follow-up, entering and managing Sales Orders (Sos), and actively managing customer backlog and delivery expectations.

  • Provide product, application, and commercial guidance to customers. 

  • Collaborate with engineering or product teams to customize or refine solutions as necessary. Develop tailored solutions, integrating technical knowledge with product offerings.

  • Maintain accurate CRM, opportunity, forecast, and account records to support accuracy of revenue growth, bookings attainment, and forecast accuracy.

  • Continuously improve technical knowledge and stay current with product updates or changes, serving as a technical and commercial resource for customers and internal teams.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.

  • 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in technical sales or account management experience, preferably in the Aerospace sector.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

  • Experience using an ERP or CRM system, NetSuite preferred.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • Must be able to work in person at our Hood River or Portland Oregon offices.

Physical Requirements


This role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods; communicating in person and by phone; using hands to operate objects or controls; and reaching with hands and arms. Occasional stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 25 pounds may be required. Close and distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and focus adjustment are also needed. Work Environment


Work is performed primarily at a desk using standard office equipment in a quiet, casual environment that encourages open communication, teamwork, mutual respect, and alignment with the organization’s mission, values, and goals.

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
