What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Sight & Sound Theatres?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve fellow workers by monitoring and taking appropriate actions to threats affecting life or serious bodily injury.
- Maintain skill training, stay current with Sight & Sound security procedures and SOPs, and establish strong working relationships with local public safety entities (Fire/Police).
- Engage in positive cordial relationships with S&S staff and our guests.
- All other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites:
- City of Branson Guard Card (Current & Complete)
- Valid Concealed Carry Permit
- Valid Drivers License
- Flexible/Adaptable - able and willing to work nights and weekends
- Able to function in stressful situations and make good decisions
- Even-Tempered
- Minimum fitness level that allows for a swift and appropriate response to emergencies.
Other Skills and/or Requirements:
Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screening. Must be able to annually meet the physical requirements of the City of Branson Guard Card certificaton including: pass a physical exam by a medical doctor; have uncorrected vision of at least 20/70 in one eye and 20/200 in the other; have corrected vision of at least 20/20 in one eye and 20/40 in the other; pass a hearing examination (permitted to use hearing aid); pass a psychological examination administered by a licensed psychologist; and have no conviction of a disqualifying criminal offense.
Salary : $23,100 - $29,300
