What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales Associate position at Siggia Hardware?
We are a wholesale distributor with a current opening for a FULL TIME COUNTER SALES/WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEE.
Position Summary:
* The ability to operate a forklift in a safe and professional manner.
* Receive, stock, pull orders on a daily basis.
* On occasion be able to make local deliveries.
* Maintain warehouse (sweep, stock shelves, etc.)
* Schedule is for 8:00-4:30 five days per week (M-F).
Essential Job Functions:
* Have the ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively in english, bi-lingual (spanish) is a plus.
* Have the ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs. on a regular basis and 75lbs. on an occasional basis.
* Have the ability to read instructions, signs, shipping memos, packing slips, and delivery slips, etc.
Selected individuals must have or meet the following criteria:
* Must provide valid Class C CA Drivers License and clean DMV Printout at time of interview.
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
* Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
* Must be customer service oriented.
* Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and all team members.
* Must be self-motivated and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
