Job Duties & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a talented manufacturing engineer to oversee and improve manufacturing processes for CNC machined rifle and pistol components. The Manufacturing Engineer's responsibilities are as follows:
*Design new processes from start to finish including machine selection, fixtures, gages, tooling, control plans, work instructions, tool life studies, and heat treat studies.
*Identify areas for improvement and cost savings analysis.
*Maintain high levels of organization and project management to ensure on-time delivery and product quality.
*Determine problem resolutions and implement improvements.
*Develope detailed layouts and routings for equipment, processes, and workflow.
*Research and develop new processes, equipment, and products.
*Maintain research, activity documentation, and preparing reports.
*Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
Education and/or Experience:
*Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering required.
*Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
*Proficiency in Solidworks and Microsoft Office.
*Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
*Strong organization and management skills.
*High level of technical expertise.
*Strong analytical thinker.
*Firearms manufacturing candidates strongly considered.
Working Conditions:
*Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
*Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
