Machine Operator
Summary Of Role
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring ABM equipment to safely produce high-quality plastic bag products while supporting production efficiency, quality standards, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities

- Operate ABM machinery safely and efficiently to manufacture plastic bag products according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and make minor adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Perform routine quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap, downtime, and material usage documentation.
- Support preventative maintenance activities by identifying equipment concerns and communicating issues promptly to leadership or maintenance teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies, GMPs, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to achieve daily production goals and continuous improvement initiatives
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues
- Strong attention to quality, safety, and detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
