Job Summary

The Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet customer and company quality standards through inspections, audits and investigative reviews. This role supports all auditing positions and investigational review of problems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction.

This role is located in Twinsburg, Ohio.

Essential Functions

Quality Inspection and Auditing

  • Perform outgoing product inspections including international, large customers, and small parcels using sales orders, pick tickets and quality audit information, as needed.
  • Conduct and support production inspection utilizing Quality Control Plan (QPC), job orders, product specifications, and ERP system to verify compliance.
  • Perform receiving inspections using Quality Control Plan (QCP) and/or siffron engineering drawings within our ERP system.

Investigation and Corrective Action Support

  • Support and conduct investigation reports generated from NCR’s and general concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support of additional tasks deemed applicable to ensure customer satisfaction by the Director of Quality and his/her representative.
  • Report all rejections to Quality Supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of quality assurance experience or demonstrate comprehension of quality.
  • Familiar with ANSI sampling plans and general quality theories outlined by ASQ.
  • Experience with basic math skills.

SKILLS (Language, Mathematical, Reasoning, Other)

  • Ability to use computer equipment and software applications (Microsoft office products, ERP system).
  • Ability to use calibrated measuring equipment including a comparator, caliper, weight scales, and all basic quality tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to provide customer service excellence, internally and externally
  • Structured, systematic work skills and habits required.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Able to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, due to inspection of product
  • Ability to stand and/or stoop for long periods of time while inspecting product.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with overtime requirement, as needed.
