The Festival Theater Operations Manager will enable operational excellence that results in an engaging environment for patrons.This position primarily manages the Festival and On-Call House Managers and Festival House Coordinators, while also providing training and administrative support for Festival Volunteer Theater Crew.Dates of Employment: Full-time, February 2, 2026 - May 29, 2026Compensation: $25.00/Hour Reports to: Associate Director, Festivals and EventsPrimary Supervisory Responsibilities: Festival Theater Assistant ManagerOn-Call House ManagersFestival House ManagersPrimary Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupport theater operations for all three assigned programs, including internal and external coordination for special programming.Develop new and evolve existing policy and procedure for assigned festival programs.Train and manage 15 Festival House Managers, maintaining and updating schedule as needed. Act as primary contact for all Festival House Manager communication.Build and/or update staff and volunteer training materials and operational manuals to reflect SIFF Policy and Procedure and Customer Service Standards.Create and execute training for Festival House Managers, Festival Volunteer House Coordinators, and Festival Volunteer Theater CrewMaintain House Coordinator schedule and update as neededProvide onsite coaching and guidance, acting as a resource for all screening theater staff and volunteersCover theater shifts, as neededAssist with programs outside normal theater operations, such as development activations, etcConduct, collect, and compile wrap reports from Festival House Managers and House Coordinators.Occasionally provide support for theater Box Office staffComplete wrap report by scheduled due date.Complete all assigned staff and volunteer evaluations by scheduled due date.
