Get to Know This Role
As part of the Production team, the Production Support Worker is responsible for cleaning, sanitation, and support activities that maintain a safe, high-quality operating environment. Reporting to the Brewing Supervisor, this role performs routine cleaning of production equipment and areas - including brewhouse, cellar, water and utility spaces—using foaming, clean-in-place (CIP), and clean-out-of-place (COP) systems. The position ensures that production environments are maintained in compliance with food safety, quality, and Master Sanitation Schedule requirements, supporting efficient and reliable operations. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to operations and provides a pathway to grow within the production organization through demonstrated skill, reliability, and teamwork.

 Please note:  We are accepting applications for 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) Mon-Fri 7% Shift Differential 

What You Will Do
  • Performs cleaning and sanitation tasks across production areas including brewhouse, cellar, and utility spaces.
  • Executes foaming, clean-in-place (CIP), and clean-out-of-place (COP) procedures to maintain equipment and environmental cleanliness.
  • Handles and prepares sanitation and chemical solutions safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures. Safely operates industrial equipment (forklifts, articulating booms, scissor lifts, etc.).
  • Completes and documents required sanitation checks, logs, and Master Sanitation Schedule tasks accurately and on time
  • Inspects equipment and areas post-cleaning to verify readiness for production and reports any deficiencies or maintenance needs.
  • Collects, sorts, and stages process waste and recycling streams (from brewing and all production)—including aluminum, corrugate, glass, and compost—to ensure proper handling and disposal in alignment with sustainability practices.
  • Collaborates with brewing, packaging, quality, and maintenance teams to uphold food safety and quality standards during cleaning activities.
  • Adheres to all personal safety, food safety, and environmental protocols, wearing proper PPE and following lockout/tagout procedures as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
     


 

Please Apply if You Have
  • 1 year Previous experience in industrial cleaning or manufacturing preferred
  • Basic math and literacy skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to become certified and operate forklift, scissor-lift and articulating boom (training provided)
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as a member of a high-functioning team
  • Understands when to escalate issues
  • Attention to detail
  • Follows standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices and product specifications to maintain product quality
  • Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (S.D.S.) and label instructions
  • Ability to use furniture moving equipment such as a dolly or cart
  • Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as a shop vacuum, floor buffer, carpet extractor, high pressure water systems and a variety of hand tools after training


 

Additional Requirements to Consider Before Applying
