What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Experience Unit Coordinator position at Sierra Temporary Lodging?
Location: Must reside in San Antonio, TX . Must have reliable transportation and valid Driver's License. Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs.
Overview:
This role is responsible for ensuring that every unit is flawlessly prepared for guest move-in, adhering strictly to our established Code of Standards. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure every unit meets our exacting standards prior to guest arrival.
- Follow detailed checklists and procedures with precision and consistency.
- Identify discrepancies or issues proactively and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a strong sense of ownership over the guest experience from start to finish.
- Think ahead and anticipate potential problems before they arise.
- Take direction well and execute tasks efficiently, while remaining flexible and able to pivot when plans change.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external vendors.
- Apply sound judgment and common sense in all decision-making.
- Demonstrate logical thinking and problem-solving skills in fast-paced situations.
- Embrace change and adapt quickly to last-minute updates or evolving priorities.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi issues and, when necessary, install Wi-Fi equipment to ensure seamless connectivity for guests.
- Perform basic handyman-type tasks as needed to ensure units are fully functional and guest-ready.
- Clean and set up apartments for new client arrival and break down apartments once client moves out, package items to be returned to warehouse and clean and re stock housewares.
- Maintains an appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies, and informs the appropriate supervisor when a re-order is necessary.
- Provide housekeeping to client's bi weekly or monthly upon request.
- Clean main office on daily basis, wiping down furniture, vacuum and taking out trash.
- Willing to commute to Dallas, Austin, and surrounding areas.
