Sierra Telephone is seeking to fill an IT Network Technician position in the beautiful mountain community of Oakhurst, California. IT Network Technicians are responsible for providing exceptional and reliable network services for the Central Office and maintain the network security, switching and routing of all Central Office Data; including maintenance and operation of Central Office equipment and troubleshooting of all associated equipment.
Ideal candidates for this position will have experience working with network technologies and telecommunications systems, including routers, switches, wireless networks, Metro Ethernet, DSL technologies, optical carrier systems, and fiber optic networks. Responsibilities include engineering, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Central Office equipment and associated network systems. This position may require overtime as needed and participation in a rotating on-call schedule.

REQUIREMENTS
- A.S. Degree in an Information Technology field preferred.
- Minimum five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Cisco certification or related industry certification is desired.
