We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment across construction sites and facilities. Your keen eye for surveillance, conflict management skills, and ability to perform thorough background checks will be essential in preventing theft, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and conduct regular visual inspections of the premises to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Control access points by verifying identification, performing background checks on visitors or contractors, and managing entry logs
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies using conflict management skills and coordinate with emergency services when necessary
- Conduct security patrols on foot or via vehicle to ensure the integrity of fences, gates, and other perimeter controls
- Enforce site safety regulations, including loss prevention measures and heavy lifting protocols, to minimize risks
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting site audits
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or security roles with knowledge of security procedures
