Job Overview
We are seeking a high-energy HR Coordinator / Recruiter with experience in full-cycle recruiting and high-volume hiring. This role is essential to ensuring our construction sites are staffed with qualified safety professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in staffing agencies, construction recruiting, or fast-paced HR environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Recruit for:
- Site Safety Coordinators (SSC)
- Site Safety Managers (SSM)
- Construction Superintendents (CS)
- Execute high-volume hiring with speed and accuracy
- Post jobs on Indeed and other job boards
- Track applicants using Excel, ATS systems, and internal tools
- Coordinate onboarding and ensure all compliance documentation is complete
- Verify OSHA certifications, SST cards, and required credentials
- Run background checks and screenings
- Communicate with candidates via phone, email, and WhatsApp
- Partner with operations to meet urgent staffing needs
- Support additional HR and administrative functions as needed
Required Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR coordination
- Experience with high-volume hiring (construction or field roles preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ATS systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with WhatsApp or similar communication tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, safety, or skilled trades recruiting
- Knowledge of OSHA / SST requirements in NYC
- Background in staffing agencies or field workforce recruiting
