Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details A hospital near Sacramento is looking for experienced ICU nurses for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience. Job Requirements Hold an active BLS certification. Hold an active ACLS certification. Hold an active NIHSS certification. Hold an active California License. Schedule Information 12 hr shifts. Shift starts at 645. Report is at the bedside. OT and extra shifts are available. Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it. Schedules are out 4 weeks. Unit Specific Information Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Primarily medical ICU, respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, GI bleed, psych holds with sitters if agitated, some pediatrics. Travelers will not take peds. Can also have PACU patients after hours. Floor specific orientation : 1 - 2 days on the floor with preceptor. Additional Details Need 2 supervisory references (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 within 12 months and 1 within 3 years worked. For Holiday RTO : Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years). Dignity facility-wide orientation is in Sacramento - not Grass Valley Utilize Tele-med robots.
