This is a full-time, on-site role for a Radiologic Technologist based in Reno, NV. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality, and maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Day-to-day tasks include operating imaging equipment, positioning patients, preparing imaging rooms, maintaining accurate records, and assisting healthcare providers in evaluating diagnostic results. Compliance with safety protocols and collaboration with the medical team are essential components of the role.
- Proficient in operating radiologic equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ability to ensure patient and staff protection
- Skilled in patient positioning, equipment calibration, and preparation of imaging rooms
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and image quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (e.g., ARRT) and applicable state licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon employment
- Previous experience in a neurology or pain management setting is a plus
