Growing multi-specialty practice looking for experienced long term medical receptionist/front office employee.
Candidate must be professional, independently motivated, detail-oriented, reliable, articulate, pleasant, punctual, and patient-oriented. Good communication and customer service skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and the ability to work with others as a team player are required. Candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic.
We are looking for someone with a great attitude and excellent phone skills! Office environment is pleasant with supportive management.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering and addressing phone calls and patient concerns and questions
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointment
- Scheduling procedures
- Communicating with surgical centers, patients, insurance companies and staff
- General office organization and maintenance of patient charts
- Insurance verifications
- Processing if patients during clinic days. Check in and check out of patients
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, high stress and challenging environment
Medical Assistant Certificate preferred. Prior experience in a medical office is preferred. Verifiable references are required.
