About the Role:
Sierra is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to be responsible for conducting cradle to grave contract and administrative duties. Daily contract administration of a combination of Prime and Subcontract task orders to include working with the Program Managers/Subcontractors and Government to coordinate delivery schedules, funding, personnel placement, estimates to complete, and contract modifications. Assist Contracts Administrator when needed with the tracking and maintenance of Sierra’s Government Property. Assists in the review of solicitations, amendments, and preparing cost proposal submissions. Responsible for reviewing and processing of all applicable contract documentation. Should have knowledge of Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and SeaPort-e contracts. Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Defense Acquisition Regulations Systems (DFAR). Knowledge of Administrative support and assistance in maintaining and updating Contract files; Seaport-e contracts and subcontracting 50% reporting goals, Federal Sub-Award Reporting System (FSRS), Enterprise-Wide Contractor Manpower Reporting Application (ECRMA) and System for Award Management (SAM). Experience with editing and proof-reading documentation/reports and researching information/data to be entered into accounting system. Other duties may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support proposal efforts by reviewing solicitations (RFPs/RFQs), identifying contractual requirements, and contributing to cost and contractual volumes
- Draft, review, and negotiate DoD prime contracts and subcontracts (CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with applicable acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS, agency supplements)
- Track funding, deliverables, mods, and key deadlines across active contracts
- Coordinate with program managers, legal, finance, and subcontractors throughout the contract lifecycle
- Maintain organized contract records and support internal reviews, audits, and reporting
- Monitor changes in scope or performance and manage contract modifications and closeouts

Education: High School diploma or equivalency
Experience:
- 5 or more years of contract administration experience, with a focus on DoD contracts
- Familiarity with the full proposal-to-award lifecycle
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and standard government contract types
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common contract/proposal management tools
