We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Adaptive Skills Training Supervisor to oversee services, mentor staff, and help our clients develop essential communication and daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities
- On-site Supervision: Conduct in-home and community-based supervision of Adaptive skills Trainers.
- Assessment and Planning: Conduct functional skills assessments and develop/update individual teaching plans
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support direct care staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to agency policies
- Data and Compliance: Monitor data collection, review daily progress notes, and ensure compliance with regional center requirements
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with staff, parents, and the administration team to ensure cohesive support
Location
North Los Angeles region focused on Palmdale, Lancaster, and Santa Clarita
What we are looking for:
- Experience: Proven experience working with individuals with special needs
- Leadership: Prior experience supervising direct service staff
- Skills: Strong understanding of data collection, behavior analysis teaching techniques (shaping, task analysis, etc)
- Attitude: Enthusiastic, patient, compassionate, and takes pride in client success
- Requirements: Master’s level in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or related field, eligible transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
Hours and Compensation
Status: Full-time
Schedule: Typical hours are weekdays, with flexibility for some weekends,or evenings.
