What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at Sierra HR Partners?
With over 50 patrol vehicles and 300 security officers, Turner Security Systems is the largest patrol company in the Central Valley. We are locally owned and operated, with more than five decades of proven professional experience in providing a wide variety of both private and commercial security services. We are currently accepting applications for our Outside Sales Rep position. Reporting directly to our Operations Manager, this position will be primarily responsible for adding new accounts in new and existing territories and growing our professional relationships in the community.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Outline system security criteria with clients and companies to ensure comprehensiveness and appropriateness for implementation.
- Determine which products/services are the most appropriate for each customer.
- Travel to client property and estimate job costs and other related information.
- Calculate expected profit on all new accounts acquired.
- Communicate all opportunities and threats in the marketplace to management to develop an effective and fluid strategy.
- Communicate and analyze customer inquiries and determine a correct course of action.
- Conduct research to provide market trends, demands, and analysis feedback for management.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required (college degree preferred)
- 4 years of experience in sales (preferably with fire/burglary alarm systems)
- Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of staff and customers.
- Ability to work well under deadlines pressure while maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
Position offers a competitive salary with an hourly base rate as well as commission opportunities totaling between $40,000 - $70,000 annually with benefits including Medical, 401(k), PTO, & Sick Time.
