Sierra Executive Solutions, Inc. (SES) is a 3rd party search firm recruiting for a Carson City, NV insurance client's Sales Account Executive. This is a B2B role and is on-site and not remote nor hybrid.


Summary: Sell Worker’s Compensation Product to business establishments. Responsible for generating and recording sales leads through cold calls and following up on referrals. Perform sales presentations and provide outstanding customer services to members. New hire will be given an existing book of clients to maintain, service, and retain, while pursing new clients.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Compile a list of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, internet websites, and other sources.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective members to solicit new business. Completing and documenting the result of twenty-five or more in person cold calls and seventy-five or more telephone sales calls per week.
  • Assists with quarterly claims reviews for large members brought into the SIG and OSHA training.
  • Present the Annual Program Review for the members brought into the SIG.
  • Coordinates member training.
  • Enter new member data and other sales data for current members and potential sales leads customers into the Jello database.
  • Attend sales presentations, networking events and trade shows.
  • Assists with the assembly and preparation of expo and trade show materials.
  • Communications daily schedule and perform other sales duties as directed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other applicable course of study is preferred.
  • 2 years experience in B2B outside sales is required.
  • Insurance industry sales experience is ideal for onboarding in this role, strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-Point.

Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000 annual base salary plus monthly sales and account management commission, which averages $12K-$15K annually but has no cap! Outstanding employee benefits.
