Field Service Technician

- Position reports to Maintenance/Compliance Director

What we are looking for

Sierra Enterprises Oregon is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service and maintain fuel dispensers and underground storage tank (UST) systems at our retail fueling locations. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on technical experience, works independently, and is committed to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

· Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers and related equipment

· Service, troubleshoot, and test UST systems, including Veeder-Root ATGs

· Inspect and replace components such as STPs, sensors, probes, valves, tank sumps, and dispenser sumps

· Complete accurate service reports and documentation

· Follow all company safety and environmental procedures

· Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle

Requirements

· 2 years of hands-on experience working with fuel dispensers and/or UST systems

· Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues

· Experience with Veeder-Root or similar ATG systems

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience or certifications with:

· Gilbarco Veeder-Root

· Wayne Fuel Dispensers

Physical Requirements (including but not limited to):

· Walking

· Kneeling

· Standing

· Lifting

· Bending

· Actively working in all weather conditions

· Working both indoors & outdoors

· Carrying up to 50 lbs.
