Job Details

Tampa or Jersey CityJob Description:

>> Create, modify, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, Assembler, or other relevant languages.

>> Ensure efficient operation of central processing systems, handling updates and enhancements.

>> Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for software applications.

>> Work with business analysts, system engineers, and other developers to align mainframe solutions with business requirements.

>> Create and maintain technical specifications, user manuals, and support documentation.

>> Optimize applications for speed and efficiency.

Requirements:

>> Sr profile preferred

>> Local candidates preferred for face-to-face interview

>> Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, SQL, Assembler

>> Experience with CICS, DB2, VSAM, zOS, ISPF, Mainframe Utilities

>> Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), batch and online processing, data analysis, system integration
