We are looking for an L1 Infrastructure Support Engineer with 2 4 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring, production support, and DevOps-related tools. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure and applications, identifying alerts, performing initial troubleshooting, and escalating issues to the appropriate support teams to ensure system availability and stability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L1 infrastructure and application monitoring support.
Monitor system performance, availability, and alerts using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
Perform initial troubleshooting and incident analysis for infrastructure and application issues.
Analyze logs, dashboards, and alerts to identify potential issues.
Create, update, and track incident tickets in accordance with established support procedures.
Escalate complex technical issues to L2L3 support and DevOps teams.
Support basic DevOps and infrastructure operations activities.
Follow incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
Maintain documentation of recurring issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application support, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
2 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, production support, or technical operations.
Working knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and alert management.
Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and infrastructure operations.
Knowledge of log analysis, incident management, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with LinuxUnix or Windows environments.
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a support environment and follow established escalation procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to cloud infrastructure and application monitoring.
Basic knowledge of scripting or automation.
Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and service management processes.
Experience working in a 247 production support environment is an advantage.
Salary : $35 - $40
