Used Car Porter

Position Summary

The Used Car Porter supports the Used Vehicle Department by ensuring inventory is properly maintained, organized, displayed, and ready for sale. This position coordinates vehicle movement, maintains lot appearance, assists with inventory management, and supports daily dealership operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles between dealership lots, service departments, auction locations, and other designated areas.
• Assist with inventory organization and lot management.
• Ensure all used vehicles are clean, fueled, properly parked, and displayed according to dealership standards.
• Conduct regular lot inspections to verify vehicle placement, condition, and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with receiving and checking in new used vehicle inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle display areas and dealership grounds.
• Perform basic vehicle checks, including battery status, tire pressure, fuel levels, and visual condition assessments.
• Support sales and service departments with vehicle transportation as needed.
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
• Complete additional duties assigned by management.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Previous automotive dealership or lot porter experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
  
  

Pay: $22 hourly bonus
